What’s the Word?

They say some people think in abstract thoughts, and others in words. Me: I’m in the word group. I’ve been telling stories for as long as I can remember, studied creative writing in college, and spend my spare time reading books or magazines or websites. (And sometimes Twitter. Nobody’s perfect.)

I’ve worked in publishing, creating educational books and materials. I’ve done freelance editing for authors and written social posts for small businesses. And I’ve worked in marketing, making content for some of the biggest companies in the world. The common factor through it all? Words, and the power they have to change the way people think, act, and understand the world.

But listen: writing is a solitary task. You stare at the screen, trying to find that one exact word that means the difference between greatness and hackwork. Or at least just the difference between interesting and forgettable. It gets lonely.

But that’s where you come in.

We can work together to create something special, something that moves people or entertains them or at least gets them to click through to your site. There’s no challenge I enjoy more than taking the pieces of a story and finding the exact right way to bring it to life.

That’s what I’m good at. That’s what I do.

And I can do it for you.

Word? Word.
